How I recycle my Grocery bags every week
Hi Fellow Environment,
You might already know that plastic bags we use daily take 10 years to 1,000 years to decompose. It so much makes sense to recycle them and put them again to use rather than throwing them into the dustbin with other garbage.
So here is how I recycle them every week.
- Collect them to a location.
Whenever I see a plastic bad, I collect them and put them together. Make a bunch of them or put them in a cardboard.
2. Take them with you to your next shopping trip.
There are a lot of places that recycles around you. One of them is Fry’s. You can check out places near you here:
3. This one is the easiest, at Fry’s they have a bin, just dump your bags in there.
And that’s it.
Did you know: One ton of recycled plastic saves 5,774 Kwh of energy, 16.3 barrels of oil, 98 million BTU’s of energy, and 30 cubic yards of landfill space.
Let me know how you think, and how you recycle your plastic bags.
